There is things that should be sharpened that people dont think about. When you use untinsels that are sharp they cut easily. What are these items?
Household Items
1.Blender blades
2.Potato peeler
3.Cheese grader
4.Fingernail clippers
5.Cuticale remover tool
6.Cuticale pusher tool

A few ways to take care of your knives and keep them sharp.
1)Hand wash your knives. Do not put them in the dishwasher.
2)Use wood cutting boards. Granite, marble and glass cutting boards dull your knives faster.
3)After each use wipe your knives down with a dry towel.
4)If you store your knives in a leather sheath for a long period of time, coat the blade with a lil bit of cooking oil. Will keep it from rusting.
5) Use the proper tool for the job. dont pry with your knife or use as a screw driver.

It is important to keep sharp even during the winter. This is why:
1)Your hatchet needs to be sharp
so when you are splitting kindling the hatchet cuts right through the wood, If
the hatchet is dull it can just bounce off and do bodily damage to self and
others.

2)Your snow shovel needs to be sharp and flat so
when you are shoveling ice and snow, the shove will cut right through the ice
and snow not leaving extra snow behind that can cause a trip and slip
hazard.

3)Your kitchen knives and accessories need to be
sharp so you can prepare the holiday meals fast and safely. if you use dull
knives and kitchen accessories, the job will take longer and more pressure. So
if you are pressing really hard to slice, dice and shred your food you run the
risk of slipping off and cutting your hand or other things that you did not mean
to cut.

4)And of course your hunting knives and hunting saws
need to be sharp. When you are gutting, skinning, deboning and sawing the pelvis
and brisket.
